Job summary

Three Notch’d Brewing Company in Columbia, SC is seeking a Front of House Floor Manager to lead the training and supervision of all Front of House staff across shifts and events. You will ensure guests are served to our service standards and daily operations run efficiently in the bar and dining areas.

The role involves hiring support, staff development, monitoring performance, managing inventories, and coordinating with the Event Sales team on post-event reporting and billing matters.

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisory experience in the hospitality industry.
• Previous experience as a bartender, or server.
• Very strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and team building skills.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter, proactive, open-minded, positive approach.
• Ability to successfully motivate and coach others.
• Highly effective multi-tasker.
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).

Responsibilities

• Ensure outstanding guest service and a guest-friendly environment with high standards and product knowledge.
• Assist with hiring, training, and development of Front of House staff.
• Implement and maintain guest service standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues.
• Oversee daily goals, tasks, and assignments with the Assistant General Manager.
• Manage ordering, PARS, and inventory of beer, wine, liquor, and spirits.
• Develop and update beer and cocktail menus based on availability and demand.
• Ensure opening and closing responsibilities are completed.
• Supervise staff for special events and coach during service.
• Provide safety interventions when guests are consuming alcohol.
• Maintain adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Assist with scheduling, ordering, and inventory; support Event Sales with BEO invoices and contracts.
