Job summary

Three Notch’d Brewing Company in Northern Virginia is seeking a General Manager to lead Front and Back of House operations at our Brewpub location. You will work with the brewery, finance, marketing and events teams to meet company objectives.

The role requires extensive leadership experience in a restaurant or bar, plus ServSafe and alcohol-service certifications. Competitive salary ranges and opportunities for events are included.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a restaurant or bar for at least 5 years.
• Must hold a current, valid food safety certification such as ServSafe.
• Must hold a current, valid safe alcohol service certification such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Passion for craft beer and distilled spirits.

Responsibilities

• Manages Front of House and coordinates with Back of House with Executive Chef.
• Oversees hiring, training, development and performance management.
• Ensures quality and consistency in customer service, menu design and bar program.
• Oversees cleanliness, maintenance, vendors and facilities.
• Drives sales and service, identifies opportunities to refine operations.
• Oversees cost control and profitability; reports to VP of Retail Operations.
• Leads scheduling and execution of special events with Events team.
• Implements operational best practices and admin tasks (invoicing, payroll).
• Coordinates with Production Manager on beer inventory and with Brewery on events.
