Job summary

The Post Oak in Biloxi, MS is seeking a Front Manager to oversee the front‑of‑house team and ensure smooth, welcoming service for every guest. You will supervise staff, drive service standards, and partner with kitchen and management to maintain a top guest experience.

Responsibilities include staff scheduling, payroll records, training, and adherence to safety and employment laws. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required; a lead-by-example style is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 21 years of age.
• At least 2 years of experience in restaurant management.
• Strong knowledge of front of the house operations including food, beverages, staff supervision, service techniques and improving guest experience.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise front-of-house employees daily.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws at federal, state and local levels.
• Enforce safety standards and company safety rules (OSHA).
• Enforce harassment and discrimination policies.
• Attend manager meetings and trainings.
• Work weekends/holidays as needed, per GM scheduling.
• Lead by example to achieve guest satisfaction and do whatever it takes.
• Motivate staff to control labor costs and manage schedules.
• Maintain accuracy of daily sales and payroll documents.
