Job summary

Spinato’s in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Front-of-House Manager to lead service and guest experiences. You will supervise FOH staff, manage schedules, and ensure training, while upholding Spinato’s values and hospitality standards.

You’ll oversee inventory, open/close operations, and step in as General Manager when needed, guiding a calm, guest-focused environment with teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years restaurant management experience.
• Current ServSafe certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage service, sanitation, and guest hospitality.
• Familiarity with POS systems, labor and P&L metrics, and close-out processes.
• Ability to lead and support FOH roles as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and motivate FOH staff during service, cultivating a high-performing team culture.
• Maintain FOH staff scheduling and conduct performance reviews.
• Hire and onboard new team members in line with Spinato’s values.
• Execute FOH training, development plans, and team meetings.
• Oversee FOH inventory, ordering, and receiving processes.
• Open and close the restaurant as scheduled and ensure operational excellence.
• Act as General Manager in their absence and manage financial tasks as needed.
• Ensure cash handling and POS procedures are accurate and compliant.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
