Qualifications

Primary Objective of Position

To coordinate the activities of the Food & Beverage Outlets as needed in order to deliver quality products and services to guests. Achieve a high level of guest satisfaction while maintaining high standards of service as per Langham Hospitality Group and Forbes standards.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assist Food and Beverage leadership in supervising staff, including scheduling, service standards, training, motivation, and safety.
  • Ensure restaurant compliance with sanitation and safety standards; check equipment and facilities for appeal and functionality; follow up on repairs and maintenance.
  • Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction; ensure food quality and presentation meet standards; interact with guests for feedback.
  • Manage inventory and supplies to ensure proper stock levels of linens, glassware, silverware, and condiments.
  • Participate in marketing efforts, create menu ideas, analyze food trends, and assist in specials preparation. Interact with customers to address needs and resolve conflicts.
  • Perform line duties during high volume or emergencies as needed.
  • Report for scheduled duties as per supervisor’s instructions.
  • Provide excellent guest service, adhering to Langham and Forbes standards.
  • Train staff in Forbes service standards and ensure proper execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
  • Activities include standing, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, handling, grasping, lifting (up to 50 lbs), carrying, seeing, hearing, talking, walking. Repetitive motions related to pouring and shaking drinks.
  • Standing for approximately 90% of shift.
Required Skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including foods, beverages, supervision, service, and guest interaction.
  • Strong math skills, especially percentages.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and bend continuously.
  • Effective communication in English, both oral and written.
  • Patience, tact, diplomacy, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
Education and Experience

High School diploma required; degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management preferred. Minimum 2 years of management experience in Food & Beverage.

Licenses & Certifications

Ability to obtain necessary government licenses; CPR and First Aid preferred.

Salary Range

$65,520 - $81,900 annually
