Job summary

CHANDON Australia is seeking an Assistant Manager, Front of House for our premium Brand Home in the Yarra Valley. You will oversee day-to-day front-of-house operations across Restaurant, Lounge, Tasting, Retail and Events, and coach a high-performing team to deliver seamless service.

Represent the CHANDON brand with pride, support the management team to uphold the highest standards, and drive guest satisfaction through confident product recommendations and a customer-centric sales culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leadership in premium, high-volume front-of-house.
• Proven track record coaching and developing a service-driven team.
• Strong communication skills for guest interactions and team leadership.
• Wine and food knowledge with solid hospitality operations know-how.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house operations across multiple venues including Restaurant, Lounge, Tasting, Retail, and Events, ensuring seamless service delivery.
• Represent CHANDON’s brand and values with pride, supporting the management team in ensuring every experience is delivered to the highest standard.
• Coach and support a high-performing team to deliver memorable hospitality experiences and achieve retail sales objectives.
• Actively contribute to sales targets through confident product recommendations and promoting Club Chandon.
• Drive continuous improvement in service standards and guest satisfaction, identifying and resolving operational issues proactively.
• Ensure the venue’s presentation is maintained to the highest standards, overseeing facilities and operational readiness.
