Job summary

Crimson Wine Group is seeking an Assistant Tasting Room Manager to lead front-of-house operations and champion a brand-defining guest experience at its estate. You will manage, develop, and inspire the hospitality team, translating business objectives into memorable, personalized connections that drive wine and wine club sales.

The ideal candidate is service-driven, team-oriented, and adaptable, ensuring operational standards, inventory controls, and daily logistics are executed with precision

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of prior retail tasting room or consumer direct sales experience.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams across levels.
Strategic thinker with ability to implement initiatives and drive results.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with CRM and POS systems; familiarity with wine industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead tasting room hospitality staff and manage scheduling.
Oversee daily FOH operations and inventory controls.
Ensure VIP guest service and maintain discretion with internal data.
Coordinate events and guest experiences in line with brand standards.
Maintain safety, training, and compliance with policies and procedures.
