Highway140Enterprises in El Portal, CA is seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our front-of-house team. As a Host, you'll be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a warm atmosphere. This role requires you to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

You will greet guests, manage seating, and assist with reservations while ensuring guest satisfaction. Prior experience is preferred but not necessary.

Qualifications

• Prior host or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a California Food Handler Card.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests with a friendly, upbeat attitude.
• Manage the seating chart and waitlists using host tools or apps.
• Answer phones, take reservations, and assist with to-go orders.
• Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth guest flow.
• Maintain cleanliness of the host stand and lobby area.
• Assist in ensuring guest satisfaction and responding to special requests.
