Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Front-End Driver to operate front-end trucks on multiple residential and commercial routes in Brown City, Michigan.

You will remove and transport waste or recyclables, service multiple customers daily, and ensure proper transfer to indicated facilities. Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, interacting with customers, maintaining route logs, and adhering to safety procedures and regulatory requirements while working in variable

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive function criteria per company standards.
• Must be able to demonstrate safe driving and operation of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive front-end trucks on designated routes to collect solid waste and recyclables.
• Open enclosures/gates, dump and transfer loads to appropriate facilities.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle condition reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and report issues to management.
• Maintain route/productivity logs and daily records as required by law or policy.
