Job summary

Marshalls in Hyattsville is hiring for a Loss Prevention Associate. You will help deter loss, assist customers, and work with store teams to maintain safety. A body worn camera is worn as part of uniform and you will be at the front of the store or in a department.

The position requires 0–2 years of retail or security experience, strong communication, and the ability to stand for long periods. Competitive hourly pay is provided with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years retail or security experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with good judgment.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss/dishonesty.
• Review the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear a Company approvedUniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers with courtesy and respect.
• Position at the front of the store or in a department.
• Refer customer requests to store management or customer service via radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep with management.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
