Job summary

Meijer is seeking a team member in asset protection to maintain safe store conditions and deter theft. You will engage with customers, monitor for safety concerns, and respond to security alerts while upholding company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include active presence in the store, rapid response to alarms, and collision-free collaboration with store staff to protect assets and ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of customer service or asset protection experience preferred.
• Clear and professional communication, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve unsafe conditions quickly.
• Prevent theft through active presence and engagement with customers.
• Respond to alerts to check receipts and recover unpaid merchandise.
• Reduce store disruption using de-escalation techniques.
• Document theft, safety, and alarm incidents and communicate findings.
