Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Warren, MI is seeking a part-time Greeter to provide a professional presence at the front entryways and deter theft by engaging with customers entering the store.

You will respond to alerts, validate receipts, and help resolve safety concerns while staying aware of customer activity. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of customer service or asset protection experience are required.

• 1–2 years of customer service or asset protection experience.
• Clear and professional written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to learn new technology solutions and document incidents.

Responsibilities

• Actively identify and quickly resolve unsafe conditions and situations.
• Prevent theft through an active presence and engagement with customers entering and exiting.
• Respond to alerts urgently to check receipts, recover unpaid merchandise, and resolve alarms.
• Reduce store disruption following de-escalation techniques and safety protocols.
• Document and communicate theft, safety, and alarm activity incidents.
