Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Front-End Web Developer with strong Angular expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications that connect with backend services and APIs. The role emphasizes secure, robust, and reusable frontend components in a large enterprise environment.

The candidate will collaborate with backend engineers, product teams, and stakeholders, implement authentication and authorization, and support CI/CD and production deployments to ensure high-quality software

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend application development.
  • Extensive experience developing and supporting Angular single-page applications.
  • Strong experience integrating frontend applications with backend REST APIs.
  • Deep understanding of RESTful services and API consumption, API versioning, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, authentication/authorization frameworks, and backward compatibility considerations.
  • Strong testing mindset including unit, integration, regression testing and preventing breaking changes during releases.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release governance in large enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with LDAP/Active Directory integration, token-based authentication, RBAC, and secure credential management.
  • Knowledge of feature-flag-driven development and controlled production rollouts.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Front-End Web Developer (Angular)
Position Overview

We are seeking a Front-End Web Developer with strong expertise in Angular to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications that integrate seamlessly with backend APIs and enterprise systems. This role will focus on building scalable, secure, and user-friendly single-page applications while collaborating closely with backend engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing Angular applications in large enterprise environments and a strong understanding of API integration, application security, testing, and deployment best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive Angular-based web applications and single-page applications (SPAs).
  • Integrate frontend applications with backend REST APIs and enterprise services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client-server integration issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Develop and maintain secure, scalable, and reusable frontend components and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to define API contracts and ensure seamless data integration.
  • Participate in application architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls within web applications.
  • Create and execute unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
  • Support CI/CD processes, release management activities, and production deployments.
  • Adhere to enterprise development standards, documentation requirements, change management processes, and peer review practices.
  • Leverage feature flags and controlled deployment strategies to support safe production releases.

Required Qualifications
