Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of recent cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong communication and customer service.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment and handle cash accurately.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks at registers.
• Schedule and oversee breaks in compliance with company policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers; take disciplinary actions when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and monitor security and loss prevention measures.
• Ensure excellent customer service and address customer issues at the register.
