Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to supervise a team of cashiers and assist with daily operations. You will ensure customer service excellence, provide direction to clerks, assign tasks, monitor supply levels, and maintain store cleanliness and security throughout shifts.

The role requires 1-2 years cashiering with leadership training, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Evening/weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Be 18+ years old with a HS diploma or GED and 1-2 years cashiering experience with leadership training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Visiting registers to ensure excellent customer service and provide direction to Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks
• Assign store sweeps and monitor cash register supply levels
• Maintain cleanliness and security, including restrooms, parking lots and exit doors
• Schedule breaks and ensure compliance with company policy and state requirements
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and address disciplinary actions
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to team success
