Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced team, model excellent customer service, and mentor associates on the sales floor. You will supervise cashiers, assist with daily store operations, and help maintain a welcoming shopping experience.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training new cashiers, handling cash accurately, overseeing breaks, and ensuring security and cleanliness in the front end and parking areas.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment and perform cash handling with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Plan store sweeps, monitor cash register supply levels and maintain restroom/parking lot cleanliness.
• Oversee meal/rest breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and address disciplinary actions as needed.
