Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will coach, schedule breaks, ensure excellent customer service, train new staff, and manage cash handling, POS systems, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, customer-oriented role model with strong communication.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment and perform cash handling with precision.
• Strong multi-tasking, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Assist customers at the register and resolve issues proactively.
• Schedule store sweeps, manage cash register supplies, and maintain restroom/parking cleanliness.
• Ensure security by monitoring exit doors and supervising loss prevention.
• Schedule breaks per policy and assist in hiring/training new cashiers.
