The Save Mart Companies is seeking a Dept Specialist Key Carrier in Visalia, CA. This role directs front-end staff and manages performance, cash handling, and compliance, ensuring optimal customer service and store standards during shifts.

You will train and lead front-end clerks, coordinate with Center Store, and help maintain front-end and parking lot conditions while supporting the store’s balancing function and daily operations.

• Knowledge of Front-end operations and check stand procedures.

• Provide customers with a remarkable shopping experience by training and holding staff accountable for excellent customer service.
• Manage front-end performance and productivity, tills, check collection, and compliance.
• Direct Clerks and Clerks’ Helpers to achieve store performance.
• Ensure front-end and parking lot conditions meet standards.
• Perform store balancing to enhance the shopping experience.
• Handle front-end management tasks including refunds and check processing.
• Monitor customer experience on the front-end.
• Occasionally cover total store operations in absence of management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
