Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a HomeGoods team member at our Bethlehem, GA location to promote a highly-satisfied customer experience.

You will mentor associates on frontline cashier operations, manage register coverage, and uphold cash controls while maintaining merchandising standards. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent degree preferred.
• Able to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Able to work as a team member.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Able to lift heavy merchandise with/without accommodations.
• Able to train and direct others.
• Able to run a register and handle money.
• Discretion with confidential information.
• Experience as a coordinator or retail/supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a highly-satisfied customer experience and drives loyalty.
• Trains and mentors Associates on frontline cashier procedures.
• Assigns registers and coordinates breaks for frontline coverage.
• Monitors cash controls and ensures proper handling of funds.
• Maintains store cleanliness and merchandising standards.
• Adheres to labor laws and safety policies.
• Addresses customer concerns promptly and communicates feedback to leadership.
