Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Supervisor or Selling Floor Supervisor to join our team in the Buffalo area. You will work closely with Store Management in merchandising, customer service, operations, and HR to lead a busy retail front end.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in an off-price, big box, or specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions and associates while in the role of Manager on Duty.
• Maximize sales results through training, developing, and coaching of direct reports.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Resolve issues and supervise front-end operations to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to minimize shrinkage.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Drive Community Relations through company programs and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedules.
