Job summary

The Save Mart Companies in Pleasanton, CA is hiring a Dept Specialist Key Carrier for the Lucky location. You will direct front-end staff, manage cash handling, and supervise clerks to ensure exceptional service and store standards during your shift.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of retail experience (including 6 months grocery). Strong communication, training, supervision, and math skills, plus the ability to read and write accurately and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a remarkable shopping experience and train associates.
• Manage front-end performance and cash handling procedures.
• Lead Clerks and Clerks' Helpers toward accountability.
• Ensure front-end and parking lot conditions are met.
• Perform store balancing and bookkeeping.
• Handle refunds/returns, loans/pick-ups, check authorizations.
• Monitor customer experience on the front-end.
• Occasionally assist with total store operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
