Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier in a fast-paced store. Lead a team of cashiers, ensure excellent customer service, and support operational needs to keep checkout running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as the business requires.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with the ability to be a role model for others.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator and scanner.
• Strong communication skills; takes direction and works well in a team.
• Able to multi-task, prioritize, stay organized and handle repetitive tasks.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and push carts up to 35 lbs. for extended periods.
• Attention to detail with cash handling and numerical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Provide direction and support at registers and with courtesy clerks.
• Assist customers with register issues and ensure smooth checkout.
• Schedule and oversee meal/rest breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Participate in hiring and training of new cashiers and address disciplinary actions as needed.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a positive service culture.
