Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced cashier team and ensure exceptional customer service in a busy store environment. You will mentor cashiers, manage scheduling, and support operational issues at the front end.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of cashier experience with leadership training, be 18+, and demonstrate reliable, friendly behavior. A strong focus on accuracy, teamwork, and helping customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Be dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication, teamwork and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with daily operations.
• Ensure excellent customer service by visiting registers and supporting cashiers and clerks.
• Schedule breaks and oversee meal/rest periods per policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and address disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain cash register supply levels and store cleanliness for safety and security.
