The role includes assisting with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management for service counters, ensuring proper checkout procedures, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must work 40 hours per week with varying opening/closing shifts.
• Must maintain Certified Food Safety Manager certification.
• Minimum of one year store experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests entering the area.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management for front-end staff.
• Supervise service counter functions and ensure proper checkout practices.
• Assist with interviews and new team member orientations.
• Ensure proper bookkeeping and filing of paperwork.
• Order front-end supplies in collaboration with the Grocery Manager.
• Participate in payroll and accounting procedures as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the front-end area.
• Support store safety and asset protection initiatives.
• Communicate with guests and team members professionally.
