Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Service Coordinator to lead front-end operations and support a high-quality shopping experience. You will coordinate checkout flow, ensure front-end cleanliness and standards, and assign tasks to cashiers, service desk, and courtesy teams to meet productivity and service goals.

You will coach staff, monitor labor and customer issues, and act as SME for market programs and pilots while driving accountability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and customer focus are required.
• Must be friendly, organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and multitask across duties.
• Experience as a frontline team member and coordinator is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support front-end operations to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
• Coordinate checkout flow, cleanliness, and standards across the department.
• Assign work for cashiers, service desk, and courtesy team members and coach them.
• Monitor shrink and financial outcomes, escalate concerns to leadership.
• Train team members and serve as SME for programs and pilots.
• Partner with team leader to ensure task completion.
