The role includes greeting customers, serving as the primary front-end contact, supporting cashiers, aiding scheduling, maintaining presentation standards and training teammates on programs. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and customers and proactively understand their needs.
• Serve as front-end primary customer service provider and liaise with management.
• Provide register coverage and support cashiers through complex transactions.
• Assist manager with scheduling, directing workflow, daily assignments and presentation standards.
• Uphold merchandising standards with floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation.
• Promote and train teammates on programs (loyalty, warranties, private label credit).
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention and SOP policies; maintain confidentiality.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
