FRONT END/RECEIVING LEAD CLERK (Finance)

Receive and verify grocery vendor deliveries efficiently and accurately. Perform other functions in Produce, Point-of-Sale, and Receiving that contribute to the store's financial interests. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Minimum requirements:

• Effective interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills

Preferred qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Demonstrated teamwork to ensure customer satisfaction and a positive environment
• Provide friendly, sincere, and respectful customer service; thank customers for their business
• Greet customers genuinely; assist with products, perform price checks, load/unload heavy items, help retrieve out-of-reach items
• Communicate effectively with customers and respond promptly to questions and requests
• Operate equipment (e.g., pallet jack, box cutter, forklift) per company guidelines
• Ensure receiving area security; control vendor traffic; monitor and report irregularities and unauthorized persons
• Receive merchandise, verify quality and condition, log discrepancies, process credits, and document vendor resolutions
• Deliver products to storage areas, handle products properly to reduce waste, rotate perishables, and manage damaged goods
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Assist in emergencies and safety hazard responses
• Check and maintain equipment; report issues to management
• Understand duties of all department positions
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and food safety regulations; identify and report unsafe conditions
• Physical demands include sitting, standing, handling objects, walking, reaching, visual tasks, exposure to dust and fumes, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 100 lbs. Must perform essential functions with or without accommodations.

Salary Range: $18.85 - $23.15 per hour.
