Job summary

ASML Holding is seeking a dedicated technician to fabricate precision optical components used in advanced semiconductor photolithography equipment.

The role involves CNC milling, grinding and polishing, coating deposition, and meticulous assembly of optical parts. You will work in a clean room environment with a compressed twelve-hour shift, contribute to safety and quality, and participate in continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a vocational trade preferred.
• Previous manufacturing facility experience preferable.
• Experience using measuring equipment such as microscopes, calipers, micrometers, CMM, interferometer.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and own optical processing equipment.
• Handle delicate optical components and identify abnormalities.
• Maintain 5S standards for area, tooling, and equipment.
• Identify and eliminate unsafe conditions.
• Identify and address product or process quality concerns promptly.
• Support area and factory schedule execution.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering and Manufacturing Management to improve efficiency.
• Learn and apply skills to tackle progressively more challenging products.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, and cycle time.
• Inspect and map glass surfaces for defects.
• Clean optical surfaces to remove particles and contaminants.
• Record time and attendance accurately.
• Assist with training new and existing employees.
