Job summary

Meijer in Wisconsin seeks a Service Coordinator to ensure a high-quality customer shopping experience by leading front-end operations. You will coordinate checkout flow, maintain front-end cleanliness, and assign work for cashiers and courtesy team members to meet productivity and service expectations.

You will coach teams to drive customer satisfaction and front-end efficiency. Shifts are available between 6 AM and 10 PM, and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Complete the Service Coordinator training curriculum (Cashier/Service Desk/Courtesy).
• Operate cash register system and financial services equipment.
• Strong communication, friendly and customer oriented.
• Able to multi-task and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with peer leadership for smooth handoff between shifts.
• Perform department walk-through and shift-to-shift hand-off when leadership is absent.
• Coordinate actions affecting shrink and financial outcomes; elevate concerns to leadership.
• Lead participation in community programs and mentor team members.
• Serve as a trained trainer for team members within span of care.
• Mentor on-the-job training and coaching for staff.
• Act as SME for market programs and company pilots.
• Assign tasks within department and ensure completion.
