Job summary

Meijer in Waukesha, WI seeks a Front End Coordinator to lead and support front-end operations, ensuring a high-quality customer experience. You will coordinate checkout flow, maintain front-end standards, and assign work to cashiers and service teams to meet productivity and service goals.

You will coach colleagues, train team members, and act as SME for store programs. Weekend availability and early start times are required; the role offers growth and development opportunities within our family

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Completion of Service Coordinator training curriculum.
• Ability to operate cash register system and financial services equipment.
• Strong communication skills, customer oriented, organized and detail focused.
• Physical ability to lift/carry and perform tasks as required by shifts.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with peer leadership for smooth shift handoffs.
• Conduct survivals walks and shift-to-shift handoffs when leaders are absent.
• Coordinate actions affecting shrink and financial outcomes within areas of responsibility.
• Escalate concerns to leadership proactively.
• Lead by example in community programs and engage in team member resource groups.
• Serve as a certified trainer for team members in their span of care.
• Mentor and train team members on the job.
• Act as SME for market programs, pilots, and training programs.
• Assign tasks within department and ensure completion.
