Job summary

Meijer is opening a new supercenter in Glen Carbon/Edwardsville, IL, serving the St. Louis Metro Area in Spring 2027.

We are seeking an engaged Customer Service / Front End Manager to lead the frontline team from day one and help launch the store. The leader will drive recognition, feedback and coaching, performance management, training and development, scheduling, forecasting staffing needs, and customer conflict resolution while upholding the Meijer culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service leadership roles.
• Ability to coach and develop team members and leads.
• Proven track record in scheduling, forecasting, and performance management.
• Commitment to store culture and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee front-end teams including Leads and Team Leaders.
• Drive recognition, feedback and coaching to strengthen performance.
• Manage area operations and financials (productivity, scheduling, forecasting staffing).
• Ensure safety, resolve customer conflicts, and uphold Meijer standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements while stewarding Meijer culture.
