Job summary

Burlington is hiring a Shortage Control Associate to help create a secure shopping environment while delivering great customer service. You will monitor entrances and high-risk areas, greet customers with a warm smile, and support theft-prevention programs across the store.

With 1+ years in customer service or loss prevention, you will report incidents promptly to the Manager on Duty, participate in bag checks, and assist in training associates on shortage reduction processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, retail or loss prevention.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and energetic greeting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and high-risk areas to reduce theft.
• Greet every customer with a warm smile and loud, friendly greeting.
• Conduct bag checks following safety standards and report incidents to Manager on Duty.
• Maintain confidentiality and support store leadership.
