00002 Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is seeking a Loader Operator to support plant operations by safely operating a front-end loader and moving aggregate materials throughout the site.

You will stockpile materials from railcars and load customer trucks on schedule, contributing to daily production in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. Applicants should be able to work 12-hour shifts (with possible weekends/overtime), read manuals, perform pre-shift inspections, and follow MSHA/OSHA safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.
• Able to work in a team and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently per training and manufacturer instructions.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections on vehicle systems and equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on mobile equipment.
• Report needed repairs to supervision.
• Ensure cargo is loaded according to safety requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping of equipment and work area.
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Operate other equipment as required.
• Adhere to MSHA/OSHA and plant safety rules.
