Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate a front-end loader to move aggregate materials across the site. You will stockpile materials and load customer trucks, contributing directly to daily production in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year heavy equipment experience; loader experience preferred.
• Must read equipment operating manual.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and overtime.
• Must wear safety equipment and adhere to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with training and manufacturer’s instructions.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections on vehicle systems and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service on mobile equipment.
• Report needed repairs to supervision.
• Ensure cargo is loaded according to safety requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping of equipment.
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs.
• Assist with operation of other equipment as needed.
• Adhere to MSHA/OSHA and plant safety rules and procedures.
