Job summary

Barrett Paving Materials Inc. in the Mid West Central region is seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join our team. The Loader Operator will load, move, and transfer materials and support paving operations on job sites.

Candidates should have loader operation experience, knowledge of safety procedures, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience operating front-end loaders in construction or paving environments.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for equipment operation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to load, move, and transfer materials such as gravel, asphalt, and concrete.
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance of the loader and related equipment for safe operation.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures and promote a culture of safety on the job site.
• Work collaboratively with crew members to maintain workflow and ensure efficient operations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job site conditions and material requirements.
• Assist in keeping the work environment clean and organized and ensure proper storage of equipment and materials.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding equipment operation and site safety.
