Job summary

Bettis Asphalt & Construction, Inc. is seeking a Loader Operator to move, load, and handle materials with heavy equipment including bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, and front‑end loaders.

The role requires travel across the Midwest and a valid driver’s license, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Qualifications

• Must be able to operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators and front‑end loaders.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Travel is required during projects and to various plants across the Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of asphalt plant and safety of plant employees.
• Operate heavy equipment to apply asphalt products according to specifications.
• May transport equipment to production sites and assist in maintenance of equipment.
• Inspect, clean and maintain equipment and machinery; report problems to supervisor.
• Set up/tear down equipment; keep job site clean and organized.
• Coordinate with contractors, sub‑contractors, and vendors to complete jobs.
