Job summary

Lone Star Paving in Central Texas seeks an Asphalt Heavy Equipment Front End Loader Operator to join our asphalt team. You will work with the crew foreman, operate a front-end loader, and help distribute components for paving operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in asphalt, 1–2 years operating paving equipment, and a safety-minded, team-oriented approach. We offer full-time hours and a benefits package including medical, dental, disability, 401k, and stock purchase programs.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years' experience in the asphalt industry.
• 1–2 years' experience operating paving equipment.
• Organized with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Positive, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work well with others in a group or one-on-one setting.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to run, maneuver, and drive the front-end loader.
• Inspect equipment before operating to ensure it is in good working order.
• Follow safety practices at all times and protect others on site.
• Assist in patching, prep work, and general labor duties as needed.
• Coordinate with foreman and move signs, barricades, and traffic control devices.
