Job summary

Albertsons Companies in Boise seeks a Front-End Manager to oversee front-end operations, ensure fast, friendly checkout, support store performance goals, and coach associates toward exceptional customer service.

You will manage scheduling, labor planning, cash handling, loss prevention, and daily reporting while maintaining a clean, compliant, and welcoming front-end environment; travel none; evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-service focus and professional team presence.
• Experience managing front-end operations and checkout service.
• Ability to manage cash handling and till reconciliation.
• Experience with staff scheduling and labor planning.
• Ability to train and develop front-end associates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all front-end operations to ensure fast, friendly checkout.
• Support customer service programs and respond to concerns professionally.
• Provide checkout support including register functions and customer assistance.
• Guide front-end activities including scheduling, service levels, and daily ops.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and a positive front-end environment.
• Manage cash handling processes including tills, reconciliations, and refunds.
• Monitor inventory and ordering of front-end supplies and materials.
• Hire, train, and develop front-end associates and supervisors.
• Support labor planning, budgeting, and expense control for the department.
• Ensure policy and safety compliance; complete daily reports and payroll docs.
