Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good training skills.
• Strong skills in supervision and coordination.
• Good counting and math skills.
• Ability to read and write to accurately complete all documentation.
• Knowledge of Front-end operations and check stand procedures.
• Knowledge of compliance and basic applicable contract/work rules.
• Education: High School Diploma (or GED) or additional job experience.
• Experience: 1 year grocery/retail, with at least 6 months in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a remarkable shopping experience by training and holding staff accountable for service.
• Manage front-end performance and productivity, cash handling, and check processing.
• Direct Clerks and Helpers to ensure accountability and high performance.
• Ensure front-end and parking lot conditions meet standards.
• Perform store balancing and improve store operations.
• Handle refunds/returns, loans/pick-ups, and check authorization as needed.
• Monitor customer experience on the front-end and assist in coverage during shifts.
