Qualifications

• Effective communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet each customer and use their name when possible.
• Unload customers' groceries from cart to belt and group items for bagging.
• Follow bagging procedures and cash handling per standard practice.
• Perform cash transactions and handle payments accurately.
• Identify customers needing assistance and offer to take orders to their car (Food Lion To-Go).
• Maintain front-end area and station cleanliness per standards.
• Complete CBTs and training aids as required.
• Perform cashier duties when scheduled or as needed.
