Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet each customer and use their name whenever possible.
• Unload groceries from cart to belt and group cold items together for bagging.
• Check cart bottoms and under seats for items before completing an order.
• Follow bagging procedures and select proper bags by type.
• Scan orders and handle payment transactions per standard practice.
• Avoid personal conversations with associates when customers are present.
• Follow cash handling, checks, coupons, gift cards, and WIC procedures.
• Follow refunds and error correction procedures.
• Maintain accurate cash control.
• Oversee overrides as needed and assist customers with To-Go orders.
• Keep front end area neat and presentable.
• Report any register malfunctions and ensure MVP KIOSK is stocked.
• Identify customers needing assistance and offer to take orders to their car.
• Operate the front end during surge periods and assist as needed.
