Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking an organized Front End operations associate to support day-to-day department processes and policies, ensuring safety and a courteous customer experience.

You will help develop efficient procedures, train supervisors, and promote company initiatives while maintaining a clean, well-run checkout area across Front End, Customer Service Center, and Accounting activities.

Qualifications

• Willing to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or nights as work demands.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Store retail experience with emphasis on customer service and frontend operations.
• Ability to multi task and handle large workloads.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Explore and develop more effective processes for Front End, Customer Service Center, and Accounting.
• Design a cleaner, more efficient working environment for Front End and related areas.
• Ensure safe, effective customer service across the department.
• Coach and train front end supervisors and customer service managers.
• Promote and implement company initiatives and process improvements to reports.
• Support store management in maintaining a well-organized shopping environment at check stands and service areas.
• Follow through on special assignments and duties as assigned.
