Job summary

You will train cashiers and courtesy clerks, ensure accurate checkout totals, maintain register discipline, and support management in scheduling and performance reviews. A focus on safety, policy adherence, and friendly service is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with two+ years of related experience.
• HIPAA certification within 2 weeks of start date.
• Manager Food Safety certification within 2 weeks of start date.
• AML certification within 2 weeks of start date.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop partners with upper management.
• Assist cashier training and policies related to customer service, produce codes, cash handling, and bagging.
• Ensure regulations for freshness, safety, refrigeration and sanitation are met in the front end.
• Provide checkout services and bag groceries; ensure accurate totals at checkout.
• Monitor parking lot cleanliness and assist customer flow on the front end.
• Lead and motivate others and maintain professional customer interactions.
• Report hazards and maintain safety protocols.
