Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Louisiana seeks an experienced Front-End Lead to supervise front-end operations, coordinate associates, and respond promptly to customer issues while keeping the store clean, safe, and inviting for shoppers.

You will train cashiers and courtesy/utility clerks on policies, ensure accurate checkout totals, monitor money counts, and uphold company standards for freshness, safety, and service.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18; 21+ to drive for Company business per policy.
• High school diploma or GED required; two+ years related experience.
• Must obtain HIPAA, TABC/LACT/AATC, Manager Food Safety, and AML certifications within 2 weeks of starting.
• Able to train cashiers and front-end staff; maintain store standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end operations and coordinate front-end personnel.
• Respond proactively to customer issues and complaints.
• Train cashiers and courtesy/utility clerks on policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and stocking standards at front end.
• Manage money handling and monitor cash register accuracy; prevent shrink.
