Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier in Stillwater to supervise a team of cashiers and assist with daily operations. You will help ensure excellent customer service, manage register issues, and oversee scheduling, breaks, and performance expectations.

The role requires 1–2 years cashiering experience with leadership training, strong communication, reliability, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or GED, and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Be dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and ability to interact with customers as a role model.
• Operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong communication and team skills; able to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs and push/pull carts as described.
• Excellent numeric skills and cash handling proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Proactively visit registers to ensure excellent customer service and guide Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new Cashiers and handle disciplinary actions as needed.
