Job summary

Qualifications

• Licenses: None required.
• Ability to write, speak, hear, and understand spoken word to respond promptly to pages, requests, team members and guests.
• May be required to use or operate box cutters, knives, bread slicer, and other power-driven equipment.
• Regularly walk, stand, sit, twist, and bend; use hands to handle or feel; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience: None required.
• Reasoning ability: Apply common sense to instructions and resolve guest concerns.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit and develop customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior.
• Promote high morale within department and store with honest, open communication.
• Maintain good relationships with other department managers to improve sales storewide.
• Comply with all company policies and directives in the Code of Conduct.
• Provide professional examples for other team members to follow.
• Bag guests’ purchases promptly and safely to their automobiles.
• Fill bag slots and supply front-end operations efficiently.
• Assist with price checks and go-backs.
• Assist with housekeeping and sweep duties as assigned.
• Keep parking lot clear of carts and return them to proper locations; ensure cart safety.
