Job summary

Ridley's Family Markets in Kuna, Idaho is seeking a Customer Clerk to deliver outstanding guest service, process sales quickly and accurately, and support store operations.

You will greet guests, handle register duties, merchandise products, assist in shipments, and help train peers while maintaining store cleanliness and safety. Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hardware products and willingness to learn.
• Sales and marketing experience with retail programs.
• Experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of retail computer systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each guest receives outstanding service.
• Greet guests as they enter the store, answer phone calls and monitor promotions.
• Execute daily operational goals and priorities set by management.
• Assist in training and development of peers to engage guests.
• Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness; maintain orderly register area.
• Participate in processing new shipments and keep receiving/back stock area organized.
• Be mindful of safety issues and shoplifting activity.
• Assist guests in locating merchandise and processing special orders.
• Encourage guests to open Ridley's advantage card accounts and explain benefits.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by store management.
