Qualifications

• Ability to write, speak, hear, and understand the spoken word to respond promptly to pages, requests, team members and guests.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals.
• Attention to safety policies and courteous guest interaction.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit and develop customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior.
• Promote a high level of morale within department and store with open communication.
• Maintain good working relationships with other department managers to improve sales.
• Comply with all company policies and directives in the Code of Conduct.
• Provide professional examples for other store team members to follow.
• Bag guests’ purchases promptly and carry them to their cars in a friendly, safe manner.
• Fill bag slots and supply necessary items for front-end operations.
• Assist with price checks and go-backs.
• Assist with housekeeping and sweep sheet duties as assigned.
• Keep the parking lot clear of carts and return them to proper locations; follow safety rules.
• Tip policy: guests should not be tipped; if pressed, money is turned into the service desk.
