Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring and control of department expenses.
• Assist with cash control, sales, and cash items for the store.
• Schedule Front-end associates to ensure adequate department coverage.
• Assist in preparing budgets, profit and loss reviews, and actions on financial reports.
• Develop and implement department action plans to achieve results.
• Collaborate with Front-end associates and promote teamwork.
• Display a positive attitude and stay current with ads.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures and logs.
• Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
• Inspect equipment and notify managers of needed repairs.
• Report safety risks or illegal activity.
• Adhere to laws and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflicts in a constructive manner.
• Maintain honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
• Provide support through interaction with diverse customers including minors and older adults.
