Job summary

Kroger in Michigan is seeking a Front-End Supervisor to deliver an outstanding customer experience, maintain a safe, clean environment, and support department goals. You will assist the department manager in achieving sales, profit, and quality standards while directing front-end duties.

Responsibilities include staffing front-end teams, monitoring budgets, handling cash control, and coordinating with store management on labor and action plans.

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring and control of supply expenses for the department.
• Assist with managing cash control, sales and cash items and records for the store.
• Manage scheduling of Front-end associates to provide adequate department coverage.
• Assist in preparing the store/department budget, profit and loss reviews, and take appropriate action on financial reports.
• Assist with budgets and scheduling of labor in partnership with store management.
• Develop and implement department action plans to achieve desired results.
• Collaborate with Front-end associates and promote teamwork.
• Display a positive attitude.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to safety regulations and ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers; maintain temperature logs.
